Mandy serves on the Ellicott D22 School Board, staying involved in local education and community initiatives. She thrives on creating connections, whether through 3 Cord Meadows or motorcycle adventures. With a heart for service and a love for exploration, she embraces opportunities to make an impact, both in her hometown and while discovering new places on the open road.

Mandy & DJ

Married in 2016, DJ and Mandy built their home in Ellicott, CO, where they also created 3 Cord Meadows, a wedding and event venue. They’ve raised a blended family of four boys, who are now stepping into adulthood. As they enter a new chapter as empty nesters, they look forward to more time touring the country on adventure motorcycles and staying involved in their community.

DJ

A Colorado Springs native, DJ graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver. He ran a landscape business for 20+ years before co-founding 3 Cord Meadows with Mandy. An avid motorcyclist, he leads adventure tours through Colorado and beyond while volunteering with the Colorado Motorcycle Trail Riders Association. Whether on two wheels or in business, he’s always ready for the next challenge.

DJ and Mandy are passionate about giving back to their community. Apart from running the Lighthouse Group, DJ and Mandy own a wedding and event venue called 3 Cord Meadows, which helps them raise money for the Diane Garduno Crisis fund for the Ellicott community.

Mandy is also a local 4H club leader for Angel Fire 4H. Lighthouse Group gives to many members of the club that show their projects at the El Paso County Fair every year.

They regularly spend time at their local National Mill Dog Rescue, where they help with daily tasks such as cleaning and socializing with mill dog survivors in order to prepare them for their eventual adoption into loving homes. They recently adopted their own mill dog survivor, a French bulldog named Tater Tot.
